Afternoon Tea in Bridge of Allan at The Royal Stirling

Now that we are in August, it just happens to be the ideal time for the berries in our head bakers Garden. If there is anyone who knows how to make the perfect Afternoon Tea, it is Mrs Howie!
Warm Scones, soft butter and of course seasonal homemade jam to name our favourites.  If you managed to snap up one of our Groupon vouchers then you will know just how luxurious The Royal Afternoon tea is!
Whilst each year we hunt down the best Raspberries for our Homemade Hogmanay Cranachan the juiciest berries are found in August excellent for perfecting our red berry Afternoon Tea jam.
This year across Halo Hotels we are celebrating the festive season with a twist on our Famous Afternoon Teas.At The Royal Hotel we are already planning what we are going to be offering our guests for the Festive Afternoon Tea. Chef has been hassling me for my homemade jam recipes so keep reading if you want to know my secrets….
Jam for Afternoon Tea at The Royal Stirling

Jam making requires a little bit of patience, lots of fresh fruit and some creative flair. We’ve also been testing our homemade mince meat pies with whipped cream and made a batch (just to check for timings of course) they were yummy. For more details of what is coming up check our web site www.royal-stirling.co.uk
For my Jam recipe, maybe you’ll need to put that on your Christmas list…
